:::HEY EVERYONE:::
So it was a lot of fun watching Pretear, right? I'm sure people realized how cheesy, corny, and perverted this anime could get if you keep watching. The manga, as said at the meeting, is completely different so you might think of trying that if you weren't too keen on the anime.

For those of you who missed the anime showing there is a 'play-by-play' of the first episode with pictures underneath the summary. It was described as a 'Sailor Moon type' so if you appeal to that kind of anime genre you should check it out. For those of you who don't you could check out the manga if you wanted which has a major difference in the way that the story is played out.

:::NEWSFLASH:::
We had our first winner of our games tonight who gets to pick what we are watching next meeting! Yay! It's a surprise so I won't be giving anything away.

:::WEEKLY QUESTIONNAIRE:::
I'm not going to pose a question, but if you would like to pose questions for myself, Jess, or any other members to comment on about Pretear or the game that we played, feel free! I would be awesome to get a conversation going that we didn't have in the room. We were all so tired and I was just trying to concentrate on the Phillies game, not really, but I think you get what I mean (which by the way the Phillies won ^-^ ).

  1. I don't really have a question. All in all though i do like Pretear, I'm on episode 7 as I write. It reminds me of a cross between Cinderella, Aquarion, Sailor Moon, Princess Tu-Tu (a little), and Cardcapture Sakura.
    I liked the game. I think listening to the songs is challenging. In a way it separates what anime has and hasn't been seen. And as mentioned the themes do really help in deciding what to watch or not. Like with Gantz, it seems really upbeat. Or RxJ, with it classical theme. Come to think of it, opening songs really do play an important role most times. I've come to a new realization, go figure. No wonder I love some of them so much.
